Library of Congress Releases Photos
January 17th, 2008
I read about this and have briefly perused the newly published folder of 3000+ photos from the Library of Congress. It’s quite a collection with some amazing images of our national and world history.
This is one cool slideshow.

Cool Links for Mac-Lovers
January 15th, 2008
I thought I’d take a little break from the personal stuff and offer some helpful links to all of my friends (known and unknown) who are Mac-users like me.
Onyx - a great piece of software to help your machine run at peak performance. - Mac-only
Flock - a cool browser that has the blogging/social-web person in mind (in fact I’m blogging this from the Flock blogging tool) - Mac or PC
Quicksilver - only the coolest piece of software ever…and don’t think I’m kidding. It will revolutionize how you use your computer.
5min - Life Videopedia
September 4th, 2007

I came across this site on TechCrunch and will be giving the site a more thorough persusal when I have some actual free-time to do so. The concept is intriguing (user-submitted 5 minutes tutorials on everything under the sun) and the potential to learn some really cool stuff is great! I can see myself trying out the Salsa tutorial or maybe learning a couple of breakdance moves…just because I can.

Cool Site of the Day

Looking for a hip poster to add to your wall art? Check out the cool posters from the gang at “ThePosterList” [ LINK: www.theposterlist.com ] Some of it is a little politically slanted (not my way) but the designs are definitely top-notch.
Establishing a Not-To-Do-List
August 17th, 2007
Recently I’ve been keying in on a couple of resources relating to lifestyle design. The first and most important foundation is the principles of GTD (”Getting Things Done” by David Allen). The second and more recent addition to the reworking of my priorities and life schedules is coming from the writings of Timothy Ferriss.
Check out Timothy’s recent blog related to a wonderful concept - “The Not-To-Do List: 9 Habits to Stop Now”. This is a good discussion of cutting out the things in life that do more harm than good.
